Your tool suggests a commission for paid search, but that channel is paid per click. How should I allocate that money?


Besides affiliate channels, Odyssey also provides suggested commissions for paid search, paid social and display. Obviously, these last sources are not cost per sale channels.

Odyssey has custom implementations in which you can upload cost data from these sources.

If you upload Google Adwords data to Odyssey, you can calculate the suggestion commission on a keyword level. The data gives you an idea of how much is sensible to spend on a keyword according to its incremental value. If, for example, Odyssey indicates that the suggested commission for a particular keyword is €100.000 but you’ve spent €110.000, you will know that have spent a bit too much according to the keyword’s incremental value and your maximum media spend.
